At Nativar we have the goal of reforesting and returning native species to the place where they belong.
This month we begin with the sowing of the first seeds for the foundation. We met on a farm in Pilar, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina and planted 700 seeds. Among the species that we select to start with the project is the “Espinillo” Acacia caven (Molina) Molina, “Ceibo” Erythrina crista – Galli L., “Espina de bañado” Cithaerexylum montevidense (Spreng.) Moldenke, “Tusca” Acacia aroma Gillies ex Hook. & Arn, “Aguaribay” Schinus areira L.
The project continues, growing, and soon we will be incorporating new species: “Curupi” Sapium haematospermun Mull. Arg.,”Algarrobo blanco” Prosopis alba Griseb., “Chañar”,”Calden” Prosopis caldenia Burk.,”Mistol” ziziphus mistol Griseb , “Algarrobo negro” Prosopis nigra (Griseb.) Hierom, “Lagaña de perro” Caesalpinia gilliesii (Wall. ex Hook ) D. Dietr.
